El Shaddai

El Shaddai is a children's home in Goa. They provide food, education and a home for the children.

What will I be doing?

You will be working in either their Children’s Residential Homes, Day Care Centres, Community Centres, or Cottages for the seniors who are completing higher education. You could also be involved in their outreach projects or working in their schools in the slum areas.

What impact would I have?

Due to the work of volunteers, children have picked up skills like learning to read and write, developed their artistic talent, and gained skills in technology, handicrafts, and technical areas. Many of these children have gone on to have careers, leading them to a better and brighter future and contributing to society. The Manna Khana free food distribution programme on week days provides for around 275 poor & needy children & adults living on the streets. In addition to this and the schools the Outreach Projects continue to benefit and change lives in South-West States of India. El Shaddai has impacted over 4000 children and continues to touch more lives through its various initiatives.

Orphans, street children and children coming from economically underprivileged conditions

Volunteer accommodation:
£500 for a month and £100 for each extra week.
This includes all meals and airport pick up.
